About Me
Professional Experience
I am originally from Vancouver, British Columbia, where I gained my bachelor’s degree before moving to the East Coast for further schooling. I am now living and based out of the Boston/Cambridge area in Massachusetts.
In my training and career, I’ve gained experience in various hospital inpatient and outpatient clinics providing psychotherapy, psychological assessment, interdisciplinary medical consultation, crisis evaluation and inpatient psychiatric intervention.
Outside of my private practice, I also work as a Staff Psychologist at the Cambridge Health Alliance. I’m integrated in the primary care medical clinic where I provide short-term therapy to support a broad range of mood and life-stressors (Eg. depression, anxiety, sleep issues, grief/loss, adjustment to illness, relationship concerns). I also have a faculty appointment as Instructor in Psychology with the Harvard Medical school, which allows me to pursue my interests in teaching. I give seminars on psychological theory and practice, and I supervise pre-doctoral psychology trainees and medical residents.
